An Actual Date!!!

Last night Tony and I went on a REAL date!! The first one just the two of us, no kids, no friends, in probably close to a year! It was a perfect evening. We went to dinner at TGI Fridays and then headed down to Orem for the Damien Rice concert! It was incredible!!!!! He is such an awesome live performer. You can tell when someone is a great musician when their live concert sounds just as good if not better than their CD. There was one down side to the concert however. The talented Lisa Hannigan, whome I love, is no longer in the band. Therefore my favorite song, Volcano was sung with all male vocals. He still did a terrific job though! For his encore, he invited us to "come a little closer", so Tony and I ran to the very front of the stage! It was a great experience minus the fact that I literally had my left ear next to a speaker. The entire ride home Tony and I would try to say something to the other person only to hear the response of, "What??" We were both partially deaf for about an hour after the concert!
