Carson's Surgery

Today was Carsons first surgery! He had to have tubes put in both his ears. A very mild and uncomplicated surgery, but surgery none the less! We had to be at Cottonwood this morning at 6:30 am! Carson was not too happy about being awake and the poor thing was starving! From the time Dr. Nielson took Carson from me, to the time he came back in with post-op instructions it had maybe been 8 minutes! It was great! He cried for about an hour but then once I got him home and fed he was happy as can be!!! Carson and me at 6:30 am waiting in the waiting room.

Carson all dressed up in his cute little gown!

The cutest patient I ever saw!

Just waiting for the Doctor.
Poor Carson was so tired and SO hungry!

Ok- what was the surgery for? That is so sad, I am glad he is doing ok though. Those pictures are so cute, you can tell all he wants is his mommmy! Hey- does Julie have a blog? I haven't seen her in about 10 years!!

Yay, I'm so glad that everything went so well and so so quick too. Poor little guy. I hope now that he'll start feeling better. Talk to you soon.

Poor little thing. I am glad you did it though, no more ear infections, hopefully!

I hope that wasn't too stressful. Capri was in and out of her botox procedure in 20 minutes and I was still a wreck! Be glad that he will be so much better from here on out-my sister had those done when she was a baby and my mom said it made the biggest difference. :)

LP had to have tubes in his ears and the hardest part was after the surgery and the crying...like you said and once we got him settled down and food in him he was fine. Your post brought back a lot of memories. I hope he is doing well. It is nice to live in Utah with family and have someone in the surgery with your little one. I was so nervous about that. I had wished that my FIL could have been there with him or even my hubby. It went fine but it would have made me feel better. We haven't had an ear infection since...I swear by tubes...they totally rock after two years of straight infections I was ready to do anything that would help.

Awww poor little guy! My girls have had to wear hospital gowns when getting radiology tests at Primary Children's. It just about makes me CRY when I see the tiny gowns, they are so cute but kind of sad! I'm glad everything is okay though!
