One year ago today I was begging my Doctor to admit me!! He told me he couldn't because I was too early, but when he saw me burst into tears and refuse to go home, he told me to think really hard about having contractions and maybe I could trick my body! He then said that if I had even the tiniest of contractions I should go to the Womens Center! So I went to the Womens Center just like he told me to and they hooked me up to the monitors. The nurse said, "So your having contractions?" and I told her "Yes, bad ones!" We both looked at the monitor and... NO CONTRACTIONS!! I told her that was weird because they were really hurting (even though I wasn't having a single one!) She told me she would have to call the Dr. To my very happy surprise, she came back in with a very confused look and said, "he wants us to admit you"!!! THANK YOU DOC!!!
At 6:56 pm after a long 4 hour labor (hehe :D Carson Bradford Pizza was born. According to my dates he was 2 weeks early, but according to the nurses he was 4 weeks early!! Thank goodness because he came in weighing a lovely 9lbs 1oz and 20 1/2 inches! He would have been a 12 pound baby had I gone to term!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CARSON! Well, you've managed to go 1 full year of your life without us actually meeting. We will have to do something about that...hopefully soon. :) I'm sure your family did a great job of celebrating your birthday and they probably got you some cool things, too. Love you lil guy!
